Amy Asevedo, LMT
"After having X-rays and going through Physical Therapy for a hip issue I had been experiencing for well over a year and no results - it took one visit with Amy to pinpoint the problem and work on the issues with great success. After a second appointment I honestly felt better than I had in years! Amy is amazing. I highly recommend seeing her! She is the best!" - Melissa B.
I have lived in Flowery Branch since 2001 with my husband, 4 kids, and 2 dogs. I love the Branch and the local community!
I've been in the wellness industry for a decade after a lifelong love and interest in fitness, health, and the human body. I started as a yoga teacher, went on to become a personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, became a board certified Health Coach, and then obtained my license for Massage Therapy.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with competitive level athletes, lead workshops, training and continuing education, hang out with a bunch of cool and talented people, and train/treat people of all walks of life.
I enjoy an integrated and dynamic approach to soft-tissue therapy and bodywork, treating the person as an individual with unique needs. I specialize in Sports Therapy, TMJD/intraoral, Cupping Therapy, and Kinesio-taping. Clinical but compassionate, I can help alleviate pain, strengthen the body, and help you integrate self-care practices such as self-myofascial release, prehab/rehab, breath, and stress management.
"Amy is the whole package, well actually the bomb! She is he best Massage Therapist I've ever had, I hate to call a Massage Therapist because she's more than that. She is professional yet compassionate, she is firm in her hands, yet kind. She is very knowledgeable about the body and how to treat it. She has saved my running passion and helped me continue doing what I love without pain. I always look forward to my appointments with her. I enjoy her as a therapist and feel she connects well with her clients on a personal level as well" - Kimberly M.
